French Horn: Peter Reit

Performed on the 8th of July 2012 Jan Hus Presbyterian Church, New York, as part of the 15 Minutes of Fame Composer’s Voice Series

This piece was selected as part of Vox Novus – Composer’s Voice “15 Minutes of Fame”. Written on a journey, this work is a multi-personality showcase for the French horn in under a minute! It shows the capabilities of the instrument’s style and range; the work even includes ‘jazzy’ memories of many fun times had with the school big band and the “bad-ass” French Horn.

Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen
Traditional arranged by Simon Arnott

This is HotTUBBS performing Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen at The Manchester Amateur Choral Competition in 2011. HotTUBBS came second in the competition, directed by Simon.

Irving Berlin Ragtime Medley
Irving Berlin arranged by Simon Arnott

This HotTUBBS performing an arrangement of three of Irving Berlin’s works, all associated with ragtime, under the direction of Simon Arnott. It has one of the most outrageous ‘barbershop style tags’ ever written to end the song! Includes the songs: Everything In America Is Ragtime, Alexander’s Ragtime Band & Don’t Stop That Rag
