Mixed Chorus/Quartet

Go Down Moses
Go Down Moses is an imaginative arrangement of the classic spiritual. Originally written for Ten Leagues Beyond, this work squeezes the original melody through lots of styles and changes. It was sung in Ten Leagues Beyond’s winning set in the Vocal Ensemble category at the Mid Somerset Festival 2014.

Irving Berlin Ragtime Medley
Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin
Written for HotTUBBS. This is an arrangement of three of Irving Berlin’s public domain works, all associated with ragtime. It has one of the most outrageous ‘barbershop style tags’ ever written to end the song! Includes the songs: Everything In America Is Ragtime, Alexander’s Ragtime Band & Don’t Stop That Rag

Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen
Written for HotTUBBS to be performed at The Manchester Amateur Choral Competition in 2011. HotTUBBS came second in the competition, directed by Simon.

Sourwood Mountain
This arrangement was originally written for Ten Leagues Beyond. It was sung by the group when they won the Vocal Ensemble category at the Mid Somerset Festival 2014. This fast paced arrangement requires the choir to go through swift key changes and mimic sounds of a banjo, and even a chicken!

Custom Arrangements

If you would like a new custom arrangement, please get in touch. I will happily arrange most pieces in most styles! If the work you would like to be arranged is not in the public domain, then I will ask that you seek permission from the copyright holder first. Sometimes gaining permission can be a very simple task; however, it can often take several months or more to complete! When you have secured permission, I can then normally get the arrangement to you within a couple of weeks, depending on my schedule.

Contact Me if you would like to purchase an arrangement.
